BLAIR WAS BORN AND RAISED IN SULLIVAN COUNTY AND CURRENTLY RESIDES IN MILDRED WITH HIS SON.
BLAIR IS A VETERAN WHO DID TWO TOURS OF DUTY, ONE IN IRAQ AND ONE IN AFGHANISTAN. BLAIR WAS
DIAGNOSED WITH COLON CANCER IN SEPTEMBER, 2016 AND HAD HIS FIRST SURGERY IN NOVEMBER, 2016.
HE DEVELOPED SOME ISSUES AND COMPLICATIONS. HIS SECOND SURGERY WAS PERFORMED IN FEBRUARY,
2017 AND WAS MORE EXTENSIVE THAN THE FIRST SURGERY. HE WILL BE UNABLE TO WORK FOR
APPROXIMATELY ONE YEAR, WITH NO INCOME DURING THIS TIME.

The YMCA Youth Wrestling Clinic is a 6 week program that will teach the fundamentals of wrestling as well as valuable skills that can be carried with your child throughout their life-Confidence, agility, sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork!
This program is for Children & Teens 4 years – 17 years and will be held in the Towanda Area High School Wrestling Room
The program will run Saturdays from June 24th to July 29th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm

The Bradford County YMCA is now registering for DAY CAMP for Bradford and Sullivan Counties! Day Camp runs from 8 am until 4 pm– Before Care hours 6-8 am and after care hours 4pm-6pm.
Camp is held at the Bradford County YMCA as well as the J. Andrew Morrow Primary School. Sullivan County YMCA Camp is held at the Laporte Elementary School.
You may sign your child up for every week, or just the weeks you may need summer child care. Breakfast, lunch and snack are served daily. Children must have completed a year of kindergarten. Camp is 100.00 a week per child ages 5-12, and $50 a week per teen ages 13-16. financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Stop in at the YMCA and grab a registration form. Simply download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
Blood donors can now save time at their next donation by using RapidPass to complete their pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online, on the day of their donation, prior to arriving at the blood drive. THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING DELIVERS MEALS FROM THE TOWANDA AND VALLEY SENIOR CENTER THREE DAYS A WEEK. VOLUNTEER DRIVERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP PROVIDE HOT NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE HOMEBOUND OR UNABLE TO PREPARE THEIR OWN MEALS.
